What connection is there between oral health and heart diseases?Research shows that poor health disease is one of the leading causes of heart diseases. Poor dental care may increase the rate of bacterial infections in the bloodstream, affecting the heart's valves. The bacteria which travel to blood vessels in other parts of the body and causes inflammation of the blood vessels and can damage them tiny clots can be observed a heart attack and stroke might eventually arise. Antibiotics have not been proven to reduce cardiovascular risks.

Not only the bacteria but also the immune system's response that sets off cardiovascular damage throughout the body, including the heart and the brain. When the bacteria enter the heart, it can lead to an illness that covers the heart's lining. This condition is called endocarditis; clogged arteries can also cause stroke caused by oral health bacteria.

Not every heart disease comes from oral health.

There is no proof that every heart disease comes from oral health factors like smoking causes both of this these conditions. Other factors include lack of exercise and poor access to medical care. People who don't take care of their overall health or are not covered with medical insurance may be at a higher level of attaining both oral diseases and heart disease. However, whether there is a deep connection or not, one should take care of their oral health to ensure their overall health.
